 Southern Belles have been enchanting people for years, and Tori Brown, Founder and Executive & Celebrity Shef of Breakfast Belle, is no exception. With her engaging personality and captivating charm with a dash of sassy Southern sass, Shef Brown has been bringing the heart and soul of Southern cooking to the North since 2015. 

Her love for Southern-style eats comes from the rich lessons taught by her Mother and late Grandmother, Sarah (Jefferson) Brown, from Santee, SC. From a young age, Tori’s passion for breakfast food was clear, and with her Grandma being a true Southern Belle, that’s how the name Breakfast Belle was born. 

For Shef Brown, it’s not just about the food—it’s about sharing the love, joy, and values that have shaped her life. Her faith and family are at the center of everything she does. As a devoted believer and loving family member, Shef Brown brings those core values into every meal she prepares and every relationship she builds. She’s dedicated to creating a community based on God, family, food, and fun, where everyone is welcome to join the feast.

Through her business, Breakfast Belle LLC, Shef Brown has had the honor of serving numerous Fortune 500 companies, prestigious institutions like Yale and Bridgewater, and countless food enthusiasts.

Alongside her cooking, she’s the proud creator of three retail food products— Bamma Fish Fry, Bamma Hot Sauce and Bamma Chicken Fry. These products have garnered praise from food lovers, including celebrity Tabitha Brown, who used Bamma Fish Fry to create a vegan alternative to fried green tomatoes. Her creations have been spotlighted by influencers like Food Network’s Trendy Chef, Kimmy’s Kreations, and Chef Candace, solidifying her place in the food world.

Shef Brown’s passion doesn’t stop at the kitchen. She’s also an avid explorer of new foods and loves sharing her experiences through food reviews. Whether it’s tasting a new dish or discovering a hidden gem, Shef is all about expanding her culinary horizons and bringing her followers along for the ride. It’s about more than just food—it’s about creating connections, building community, and sharing fun, flavorful experiences.

Shef Brown attended Southern CT State University and has earned recognition as a Woman Minority Business Enterprise and a certified member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC). She’s a highly decorated entrepreneur, having won awards like the 2024 Girls for Technology Pitch Winner, a 2022 reSET Impact Accelerator Pitch Winner and being honored on ABC’s Good Morning America. She has also been recognized for her contributions to the community, serving as a Youth Mentor for YLTrapped and receiving the 2021 Black People Rocks Award.

One of Shef Brown’s proudest accomplishments is the intentional way she spells “Shef”—with an  “S" to emphasize S-H-E-f, It’s her way of honoring, representing, and inspiring women in the food industry. Shef Brown is passionate about empowering women and encouraging them to chase their dreams, whether they’re in the kitchen or beyond.

Over the years, Shef Brown has proudly grown her business organically, cooking, creating, and sharing her love for Southern food with joy and sass. She’s a proud mother, a dedicated mentor, and a woman on a divine mission from God to build a community where faith, family, food, and fun come together.
